  16/09/2009

The president of BMCE Bank group, Othman Benjelloun, has denied the press reports alleging that the group is negotiating the sale of BMCE-Bank's shares.

Benejelloun indicated, in a press release, that “no discussions, proposals or negotiations have taken place with any national or international group for the sale of BMCE-Bank's shares currently held by our holding FinanceCom and our insurance company RMA Watanya.”

The BMCE's president also stressed that the bank is growing, both in Morocco and in the 22 countries where it is present, adding that the group is celebrating its 50th anniversary on October 24-25.
