Morocco, EU to facilitate procedures
  01/06/2008

Morocco and the EU signed Friday an agreement for institutional twinning that aims at the “facilitation of foreign trade procedures”.

With a budget of Euro 690,000, this project is part of a support programme for the implementation of the association agreement signed between Morocco and the EU.

Spanning 31 months, it will benefit both the customs and taxes administration and the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

The agreement aims at ameliorating the synergy between foreign trade players, as well as harmonising laws, in order to improve the flow of trade between frontiers.
