Success rate has reached 49.08% this year, an increase of 31.44% compared the previous academic year, said the Ministry of Education in a statement.

A total of 51.6% of successful students are female, explained the ministry, adding that the number of independent candidates who obtained the baccalaureate this year reached 6809.

In the first, regular, session, some 118,052 students earned high school diploma.
