Morocco, Indonesia to reinforce cooperation
  09/06/2008

Morocco and Indonesia expressed Sunday their strong will to reinforce bilateral cooperation, with a view to boosting trade between the two countries.

During the Moroccan-Indonesian High Joint Committee's first session, held in Rabat, the two parties agreed to explore opportunities to increase and intensify their trade.

Signing two Memoranda of Understanding and two cooperation agreements for this purpose, they also pledged to encourage investments, and organize missions for businessmen to explore the potentials of both countries.

The first MoU focuses on the creation of a joint commission for bilateral cooperation, and the second focuses on political consultations between the two countries.

As for the two cooperation agreements, one deals with non-double taxation and the fight against tax evasion, while the second is related to economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
