Morocco's foreign currency reserves go up

  At the end of the period spanning June 10-16, 2010, Bank Al Maghreb's net foreign assets increased MAD 1.6 billion (+1%) Standing at MAD 163.2 billion, foreign currency reserves remained below the level registered at the end of December 2009 by MAD 7.5% billion.

At the end of May 2010, Bank Al Maghreb's foreign currency reserves represented 6 months and 15 days of imports.

  Morocco's growth forecasts for the year 2010 vary from 2.8% to 4%. It seems that there is no consensus between the country's forecast bodies. Is this a bad thing? No. It is rather an opportunity to engage in a substantive debate on the issue.
